Int cooperation garment base in Wuxi

On March 28, the State Development and Reform Commission formally declared, Wuxi New District has become the first international cooperation base in textile and garment industry.
A framework of public service platform constructed by Wuxi New District for middle and small enterprises to cooperate with foreign enterprises has emerged.
It is learned that this 'international cooperation base in textile and garment industry' is located in Fangqian Street, Wuxi New District. It is not only the first case for the state to set up such a state-leveled international cooperation base in a street.
It is also the first national project of international industrial cooperation base under the program of 'To upgrade the international standards of industry clusters' in 2007-2009, jointly launched by the State Development and Reform Commission and the International Cooperation Association of China middle and small enterprises.
Vietnam Textile Association has decided to establish a 'textile and apparel sourcing center' in Fangqian Street Wuxi New District, and 60 US garment brands will be stationed in the New World International Textile and Apparel clothing city.
