Kim Dinh International Group Joint Stock Company plans to invest US $60 million in a manufacturing facility for footwear and clothing, building material and production of solar powered batteries in Republic of Dominica.
Sources report that the deal was a result of talks between Dominican President Leonel Fernandez and Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet.
If this move is materialized, Kim Dinh will become first ever Vietnamese enterprise to invest in Dominica.
This will be next big leap by the company after its joint venture agreement letter of intent (LOI) in 2006 with a Venezuelan company.
