BBCC-UK to host Expo Bangladesh 2007

This Tuesday, Wali Tasar Uddin, the Chairman of Bangladesh-British Chamber of Commerce BBCC-UK, announced at the national press club that a single country trade fair 'Expo Bangladesh 2007' to showcase exportable products of the country, will start from October 25-27 in London.
The fair is organized by (BBCC)-UK in association with Bangladesh High Commission in London at Arsenal Emirates Football Club.
The first Expo Bangladesh in 2005 had around 100 participants and touched the turnover of US $25 million and this year it is expected to reach $50 million.
Stalls of readymade garment (RMG), textile, ceramics, leather and leather goods among other will be given priority in the fair.
Bangladesh is quite keen on developing trade and investment relations with UK, which is the third largest export destination for the country.
