ITAC 2007 successfully conducted by Technopak

The International Textile and Apparel Congress (ITAC), presented by Technopak Advisors Ltd. Pvt., successfully debuted last week with 150 delegates in attendance.
ITAC, 2007 was successfully conducted from April 18th to April 20th. The theme of the Congress was “Consolidation and Collaboration – The Way Ahead”. On April 18th, four Workshops were held emphasizing the importance of information technology, effective logistics, product development and importance of long term strategic partnership between buyers and suppliers.
On April 19th and 20th was held the main conference, divided into four sessions with guest speakers and delegates from across the globe. The four sessions being – consumer and retail, consolidation and collaboration, taking control over operational issues, and country and region perspective.
International speakers included business heads from companies such as, Liz Claiborne, Haggar and Kurt Salmon Associates from USA; Crystal Group, Linmark, EPIC Group and Fountain Set from Hong Kong; Miroglio from Italy; Tavex from Spain and Shanghai Dragon from China.
Speakers from India included Mr. Pradeep Bhandari, Group President, Raymond; Mr. Mukund Chaudhary, Managing Director, Spentex, Mr. Arvind Singhal, Chairman, Technopak Advisors and Mr. Harminder Sahni, Chief Operating Officer, Technopak Advisors.
Mr. Arvind Singhal, Chairman of Technopak Advisors, states “while exchanging knowledge and stories of Global Textileand Apparel Industry trends was the focus of our congress, I feel extremely fortunate that Technopak was able to befriend both China and Hong Kong industry leaders. Technopak's vision has always been to extend our arms and welcome camaraderie between China's and India's Textile and Apparel Industries.”
