Kumara Swamy inaugurates BRFL integrated textiles & garment plant

Most modern integrated textiles and garment plant set up by Bombay Rayon Fashions Limited at Doddaballapur Apparel Park, 40 kms from the city, was inaugurated, by honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka Sri H.D. Kumara Swamy.
The total cost of the project estimated at Rs.247 crores, was funded partly by the term loans raised under TUFS and partly by the proceeds of the IPO made by the company in November 2005.
This project as an Integrated Textile Unit has the production facilities of yarn dyeing, weaving and 100,000 meters per day of processing and 22,000 pieces per day of Garments, with state-of-the-art imported machineries & equipments for processing from world renowned manufacturers like Benninger, Kuesters, Bruckner, Monforts, Storks, Xetma and weaving looms from Toyota and Picanol. BRFL has put its own Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) with mechanical vapor Recompression Evaporator technology from Finland with 95% water recovery.
With this expansion, total installed capacity at BRFL has reached to 50 million meters p.a. of fabrics and 64000 pieces per day of garments.
“Presently BRFL has a strong presence in fashion garments segment and is catering to various international brands from Europe and U.S.A. and with multifold expansion of garment capacity, negotiations are on with other premium labels in international market,” said Chairman Mr. Janardan Agrawal.
“The main reason that the BRFL is able to attract such well known names in fashion garments, is its ability to offer fabric collections based on the customers garment designs and samples meeting the stringent quality required by discerning customers in Europe and U.S.A.” he added.
