DyStar, a leading provider of products and services for the textile industry, now offers customers in the garment processing sector both Hipochem and Lava products.

In the past, the Hipochem range was marketed by Boehme Filatex Inc, USA, while DyStar marketed its Lava products separately. DyStar acquired the Boehme Group in August 2006 and the two product ranges are now being integrated and will be marketed by DyStar under the Lava name.

A major area of application for these laundry auxiliaries is denim finishing. Highlights of the integrated Lava product range are anti-backstaining products and enzymes for enhanced stone-washing, high-performance enzymatic bleaching agents, softeners that protect against yellowing caused by ozone and nitrogen oxides and innovative products for a wide range of cast effects.

DyStar's product offering comprises a wide range of products for all stages in garment processing. Alongside Lava laundry auxiliaries these include Sera processing agents and Evo finishing auxiliaries.

DyStar is the leading supplier of Indigo Solution 40% and also markets reactive, direct and sulphur dyes and pigments. Its products can be used to create an extensive array of effects on a wide variety of substrates.

Local garment processing experts provide support for customers and DyStar has special garment competence centres in key markets to work on custom-tailoredsolutions and develop new effects in collaboration with retailers.
