SDC conducts 4th SDC Colour Trends Conference

The UK Chapter was established in 1884 and soon became popular with the acronym SDC – an international professional society catering to colour in all its manifestations to its truest essence.
SDC was granted a Royal Charter of Incorporation in 1963.
The Society offers a-three stage recognition for its members - Fellow, Associate and Licentiate.
Following is the list of eminent awardees named this year:
Award Awardee
150 Years of Perkin Innovation Award - Dr Ram Sabnis (Patent Agent, Squire Sanders – USA)
Gold Medal - Prof W B Achwal (Ex-Prof & HOD, Textiles Div. UICT)
Silver - Ullhas M Nimkar (CEO, Texanlab)
Bronze Medal - Rakesh Sachdev (MD SF Dyes), Dr Sanjiv Y Kamat (VP, Marketing, Pidilite Industries)
There are about 275 members of this prestigious institution's Indian arm that enlists members only with due diligence, informed Dr P Siva Rama Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, SDC India.
SDC India has primarily been established to conduct annual conferences and seminars that showcase India's prowess on the technical, market development and organising fronts.
The Society is actively engaged in the pursuit of disseminating education,knowledge and information about colour science and technology.
