The recent appreciation of the rupee from a level to the US Dollar in August 2006 is a cause of deep concern for exporters of cotton textile, especially as the sector has an import content of only 3%.
In order to highlight the impact of the rising rupee on the textile exports and its implications on the investment plans in the medium and long term, we request your esteemed presence at a Press Conference being organized by TEXPROCIL on 27th April, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Cecil Court, 4th floor, 26, Bhushan Marg.
