J.C. Penney's ex-CEO may join Wal-Mart BoD

Allen Questrom, J.C. Penney Co.'s ex-Chairman and CEO, has been chosen to Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s board of directors.
Questrom, who brought about a complete makeover in J.C. Penney retail sector, will stand for election at the Wal-Mart annual meet on June 1.
If he is appointed, Allen will become the 15th board of director for Wal-Mart.
Questrom recently stated that though the chain offering best prices will never be viewed as fashion retailer, there are many changes and improvement that can be executed in the segment.
Meanwhile, Wal-Mart stores can certainly use Questrom's 40 years of core experience and public relation skills.
