Christian Strang resigns from Nuance Group

The Nuance Group announced that Christian Strang has resigned from his position as CEO of The Nuance Group Australia and New Zealand with immediate effect.

Christian Strang has been with Nuance since 1996 and was appointed as CEO in September 2005 after having held a number of senior executive positions with the company. Christian has accepted a senior position within the travel retail industry based overseas.

Christian Strang said: “My years with the Nuance Group have been challenging and invigorating and I am grateful to the Nuance Group for the trust and confidence they have shown in me and the opportunities they have given me over the years.”

Speaking about the business in Australia and New Zealand, Strang said: “With the recent arrival of Newrest, the business is well placed to continue the transformation in line with the well established strategy. The team is energised, the changes are happening and the rewards will follow.”

Roberto Graziani thanked Christian for his contribution to the Group since 1996: “Christian has been at the forefront of the establishment of our business in Hong Kong, Singapore and in Australia and New Zealand. He has at all times been dedicated to the development and promotion of the industry as a whole and has been a trusted ambassador for The Nuance Group."

"We are sorry that he has chosen to leave the company but remain confident that he will continue to make a valuable contribution to the industry in his new position and confident that the team in the region is well placed to drive the business forward.”
