After due research, Industrial Economics Department of Thailand has come up with details of Japan-Thailand Economic Partnership Agreement (JTEPA) supporting small and medium dealers.

Japan being a major trade partner, this information will help Thai SME enterprises to conduct trade smoothly.

The Department has plans to collaborate with the Commerce Ministry to organize open orientation courses regarding JTEPA.

These programs will specifically target textile and clothing units which have great potential to expand their share in Japanese market.

Japan annually imports around Bt40 billion worth of clothing and apparel products; 90 percent origin from China, while Thailand accounts for just one percent.
