Prateek Apparels to introduce foreign brands

Prateek Apparels, subsidiary of Phulchand Group of Companies, is planning to launch under its domestic operations, three brand new lifestyle foreign brands by June this year.
All metro cities will be targeted and over 11 exclusive outlets will be opened, here.
Sources say that the company will be license holder of these brands and will not only market but also produce under the foreign name.
Infact, company is also thinking of introducing separate branch 'Prateek Lifestyle'. It aspires to have over 100 retail outlets by the end of the current fiscal.
The target consumers will be middle-class and the prices will revolve around 'not-too-high, not-too-low' category.'
Prateek, who has four production units near Bangalore, is setting up another factory in Tumkur, which is expected to employ over 4,000 workers.
This is part of its initiative to raise annual apparel output from the present 5 million pieces to 12 million pieces by 2008-09.
