Cotton cloth output swells 45% in Q1

According to the latest statistics of Textile Industry Association, China's cotton cloth output reached 2.297 billion meters in March, rising 46 percent as against the same period last year.
In the first three months, the national cotton cloth yield marked 5.819 billion meters, year-on-year rise of 13.18 percent.
Shandong Province remained top manufacturer, reaching 764 million meters, a growth of 53 percent. In the first three months, the total output amounted to 1.879 billion meters, gaining 8.54 percent over the same period of the previous year.
Jiangsu, Hebei and Hubei all set highest monthly records in output, at 386 million meters, 225 million meters, and 177 million meters, respectively.
