Parlamis Textile in Bursa has decorated one of the largest and fastest passenger vessels afloat Queen Elizabeth 2 with its fabric. The company established on 16,000 square metre is producing 6 million square metre fabrics yearly.
Bülent Parlamis, General Manager of Parlamis Textile informed that they have been in fashion textile for the last 15 years and 80 percent of their products are related to fashion. The yearly production covers 5 million square metres for fashion and 1 million square metre for technical textile.
As Parlamis informed further, “We are producing fabrics for leading world companies like Marks&Spencer, Zara, Mango and H&M as well for the army, automotive sector and for the hotels special fireproof, waterproof and antibacterial fabrics. 70 percent of our productions are exported to Germany, England, Spain, Netherlands and Russia. 250 employees are working in our group."
Finally Parlamis stated, “We obtained offers from boat manufacturers in Australia, which are still in contact. Additionally we are evaluating the requests from Mercedes in Brazil, Russia and Saudi Arabia."
