Goot hits Target with Merino

May '07
The wave of demand for designer collections in affordable retail chains has boomed.

The next best thing to hit the shelves of Target stores across Australia is the Josh Goot designers for Target collection.

“The collection is about great basics, a new treatment for wardrobe essentials – a transeasonal collection that is versatile, relevant, and stylish” says Goot.

The entire collection is made using Australian Merino wool; since 2005 Goot has been working with Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) on unique Australian Merino wool fabrics as he believes it is the world's highest quality fibre.

“I have never before worked with a fibre that is so versatile, applicable for all seasons, available to be treated in so many unique ways to give so many astounding finishes” exclaims Goot.

In 2004 Josh Goot launched onto the Australian fashion circuit and has since won the renowned Tiffany and Co young designers award, followed by a showing at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) in September 06 which took the world by storm – he has been so well received that Goot was again asked to show at NYFW in February 07. Goot is now one of the most sought after Australian designers.

Josh Goot believes firmly in providing quality to the buyers of the Josh Goot designers for Target collection and that includes classic designs that can be worn year after year, as well as utilising fabrics that provide the wearer with a luxurious and comfortable garment to wear.
