Export of labor safety protection shoes increases

Ever since EU has ended anti-dumping investigation against Chinese labor safety protection shoes, the exports from Wenzhou has increased.
Statistic revealed that between August 2006 and March 2007, Wenzhou exported 6.85 million pairs of these shoes with 32.6 percent increase, export value of these touched $60.98 million, a 36.8 percent rise.
EU carried out anti-dumping investigation against labor safety protection shoes imported from China from April1, 2004 to March 31, 2005. Over 90 Chinese shoes companies were involved, occupying an amount of $50 million.
Local manufacturers employed lawyers to fight the case and after putting efforts for over one year, Chinese enterprises won this labor safety protection shoes' anti-dumping case.
Labor safety protection shoes can resist oil, acid and alkali and are waterproof as well. The biggest manufacturer of these shoes in Wenzhou city is Saina group.
