The United States Chamber of Commerce has invited Indonesia's Minister of Trade, Mari Elka Pangestu, to address the Chamber and its members on the opportunities and challenges in increasing bilateral trade and investment.
At this luncheon discussion, she will brief the U.S. business community on recent developments in Indonesia's economy, the country's new investment law, and Indonesia's trade and investment relations with the U.S. She will also describe opportunities for American companies in Indonesia and how companies can participate in Indonesia's accelerating growth.
The United States is one of Indonesia's most important trading partners and one of America's top 20 product suppliers. With the country's economy growing more than 6% a year, Indonesia holds the promise of more trade and investment opportunities for American companies.
