Exchange inks 24 deals worth $88 mn

State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (GTSBT) inked 24 trade deals last week, depositing more than 15.141 billion mantas (US$ 88.761 million) to the banks.

The exchange saw demand for petrochemical and agricultural production among local and foreign businessmen.

Traders from Russia, United Arab Emirates, Tajikistan, Switzerland, and British territory procured L 0.2-62 diesel fuel, aviation kerosene TS-1, low-sulfur black oil and polypropylene from Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.

Afghani and US businessmen purchased diesel fuel produced at Seidi Oil Refinery and K-354 carbon. Dealers from Iran and Great Britain bought liquefied gas from Naip terminal.

Merchants from Switzerland, Hong Kong, Ukrain and Marshall Islands acquired fiber cotton of various sorts, cotton lynt, treated waste of cotton spinning.

Businessmen from Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, USA, Turkey and India procured wool of saryja sheep, cotton yarn along with waste and grey cloth.
