Responding to industry trends and innovations, Material World New York will put a special focus on four key growth areas during the September 25-27, 2007 edition at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

Eco-Friendly, Performance, Product Lifecycle Management and Design Technology categories will be emphasized with dedicated educational programming, special promotions and new product resources.

Joining Material World's expansive exhibitor base of 475-plus companies, including Global Pavilions and a special presentation of home furnishings providers, these new initiatives come together to create a comprehensive global fabric, sourcing and trend exhibition for the New York marketplace.

An official event of the American Apparel & Footwear Association, the September 2007 show marks the third edition of Material World New York.

“We've only begun to scratch the surface of this New York-based show's potential,” says Tim von Gal, president, Material World. “These four new areas of focus tap into some of the most important and fastest growing areas in the apparel supply chain industry today."

"We'll work closely with our alliance partner AAFA to bring together the best possible product representation and educational programming for these and other important growth areas to arm attendees from the local New York, as well as other domestic/international markets, with the tools and strategies they'll need to thrive and prosper in today's challenging business environment.”

“With new practice strategies emerging and evolving technology applications, standard operations of even just a few years ago are changing and evolving,” notes Kevin M. Burke, President and CEO, AAFA. We are very excited about the new focus that Material World New York is emphasizing through its four strategic areas. Attendees can expect to see the most cutting edge initiatives that the industry has to offer.”
