SPV deals with environmental responsibility

PT. South Pacific Viscose (SPV) wants to be recognized as a leader in environmental sustainability by how it utilizes raw materials, energy other resources, and how it deals with its environmental responsibility.
We at SPV strongly believe that companies who adopt environmental friendly policies and standards are likely to gain support from customers. It is clear and obvious SPV's customers in Textiles and Non woven's markets recognize and value our environmental activities.
SPV is proactively engaged in environmental protection activities in all of its manufacturing processes and business steps. We are ISO 14001 certified since April 2006 this management tool requires us to perform and pushes us to improve. Just recently we completed our second external audit, and thanks to the efforts and all the hard work of our employees and management, we are glad to say we got our certification extended.
The importance of embracing the environment in our business activities is becoming clear and evident. Currently the Medias are reporting daily about global warming and its consequences on everyone's lives. In April this year – for the first time in history of the United Nations - the Security Council has addressed “global warming” and its impact on global security.
Asia is the most important factor from where this world is growing in green house gas emissions and global warming. We at SPV are aware of our responsibility in this regard and we areactively engaged in working towards environmental sustainability.
