Polyester staple fiber prices slide

June 11 Monday, PET bottle slice prices indicated no change.
Polyester staple fiber prices declined.
Acrylic staple fiber 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3D × 102mm prices showed stable, CPL prices got slightly lower, nylon 6 slice prices trended smooth.
Viscose staple fiber prices consolidated.
Polyester filament prices remained subdued, downstream buyers held a wait-and-see mentality, market transaction volume stayed at a lower middle level. Prices fell.
Spinning enterprises felt the pressures from inventory and finance. Most people expect market price will be adjusted in a downward trend.
Overall market of cotton yarn continued its adjustment. Pure polyester yarn 32s, 45s still had demand, but prices were unchanged, while 21s, 60s dropped in price.
Sales of rayon yarn 10s, 20s enlarged, mainly for nylon-cotton fabric production of downstream weaving enterprises. Downstream demand of 65/35 and 80/20 polyester-cotton yarns was stable.
