Klopman invests €4mn in bespoke dye range

Jun '07
Europe's leading manufacturer of polyester/cotton and cotton fabrics for the workwear, protectivewear and casual apparel markets, Klopman International has announced details of a further substantial investment in advanced manufacturing equipment to be installed at their European manufacturing headquarters in Frosinone, Italy.

The latest acquisition, a new state-of-the-art continuous dye range, has been specifically designed to provide Klopman's customers with access to the most upto- date technology for dyeing high performance fabrics.

Purpose-designed and built by the leading European textile machine manufacturers, in conjunction with Klopman, and incorporating the most advanced technology available, the new dye range will provide unprecedented and unrivalled performance and flexibility in the dyeing process, and also further enhance the colour retention, consistency and performance of Klopman's fabrics, keeping the company at the forefront of fabric development and innovation.

In addition, the new facility will provide distinctly positive environmental benefits, with lower consumption of energy and less waste of dyestuffs than conventional dye ranges.

The addition of the new dye range is part of Klopman's strategy of continuous investment in more advanced technologies in order to be in a position to respond quickly in a changing market with the most advanced facilities available anywhere in Europe.

The scale of this, and previous investments, reflects Klopman's commitment to customers and the European textile industry, as well as the company's ability to anticipate the developing needs of the market.
