INDA - second workshop on nonwovens at PSGIM

Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry - a leading trade body in USA popularly known as INDA is organizing its second two day workshop on Nonwovens at PSGIM Conference Hall, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore on 5-6, July 2007 in collaboration with PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore for the benefit of entrepreneurs and Industrialists to help start Nonwoven plants in India,

This workshop on Nonwovens will offer technology Know-how to entrepreneurs seeking to take up product manufacture in Nonwovens segment.India has a huge potential for Nonwoven / Technical textiles consumption as the country with a demand of 3.0 lakh kgs of nonwovens produces only 50000 kgs. India imports about 50000kgs at high import cost.

This could be turned into an opportunity by Indian entrepreneurs by investing in new ventures only through technology know-how and understanding the market demands.

INDA member companies having world class expertise on Nonwovens and Technical textiles are willing to join hands with Indian entrepreneurs and Industrialists to start Nonwoven plants in India to cater to the burgeoning middle class population with new subsidiaries, Joint Venture and buyback arrangements.

Participants will be enlightened on how to start a Nonwoven plant for their chosen end product, technology, machinery, processes, raw material and investment required.
