The sixth KMUPrimus award was presented to Schoeller Textil AG from Sevelen by the St. Gallen Kantonalbank. Schoeller's new c_change-membrane technology was awarded first prize at the official celebration in the Pfalzkeller in St. Gallen in June 2007.
By Wednesday evening, June 20, 2007 the word was out: The Sevelen-based innovative textile technology expert Schoeller Textil AG has won this year's KMUPrimus prize from the St. Gallen Kantonalbank.
During a festive ceremony in the Pfalzkeller in St. Gallen, Hans-Jürgen Hübner, CEO of Schoeller Textil AG, and his team accepted first prize. "We are absolutely delighted to receive this award for our c_change membrane technology.
This award proves us right in our untiring research and development of new innovative technologies and our faith in the
Sevelen location,“ declares Hübner with obvious enthusiasm.
The distinguished c_change membrane from Schoeller reacts like a pine cone to different ambient temperatures and moisture levels. The water and wind proof c_change membrane thus actively adapts to the prevailing temperature and physical activity.
This is why the climate close to the body is always pleasant. In clothing with c_change , the wearer feels just as good during active sports or when the temperatures are high, and ideal in cooler weather also.
The "interactive effect" of the wind and water proof c_change fabric has been very well received in the market. For example, in spring 2007, innovations with c_change have been offered by BMW (motorcycle wear), Adidas-Porsche (golf wear), Cloudveil (mountain sports wear), Zimtstern (snowboard wear) and Reusch (gloves).
