Second German Textile Technology Symposium in Bangladesh

The second German Textile Technology Symposium will take place in Dhaka, Bangladesh on November 27 and 28, 2007.
Roadshow :
The symposium will be organised as a roadshow together with a symposium in Vietnam, the event in Hochiminh City taking place on 21 an 22 of November.
As partners relevant customers´ organisations, representations of the German textile machinery industry, the German embassy and local ministries will be involved.
It is the second time that the VDMA organises a symposium in Bangladesh: 2002 600 experts from the local textile industry visited the event.
The Bangladesh textile industry meets the challenges of the future and is therefore very interested in German technology. Thus, the VDMA(Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau) expects 600 to 800 visitors for this second symposium.
Program :
The event enjoys a top-class political support (a Minister as well as important representatives from politics and the industry are expected to open the event, the German Ambassador in Vietnam will hold a reception).
Furthermore, a press conference of VDMA as well as dinners with representatives of the German textile machinery industry together with those of the local textile industry will take place.
The following German companies will participate in the symposium:
Trützschler, Suessen, Monforts, Goller, Thies, Mahlo, Textechno, Groz-Beckert, Pleva, Erhardt & Leimer, Mahr Metering, Mayer & Cie.
Rieter Ingolstadt, Lindauer Dornier, Andritz Küsters, Assyst, Küsters, Kern-Liebers, Karl Mayer, Oerlikon Saurer, Oerlikon Accotex Texparts, Oerlikon Schlafhorst.
