September 2007, new success for MAISON&OBJET

The last session of MAISON&OBJET has shown an increase in foreign visitors with a 15% increase on September 06 now representing 39.5% of total visitors.

The MAISON&OBJET exhibition held on 7th to 11th September 2007 in Paris-Nord Villepinte, grouped together 2,916 exhibitors, who presented their latest new products in over 118,000 net metres of stand space.

For five days, they received 73,638 trade buyers i.e. an increase of almost 10% on September 2006. With the strong increase in foreign visitors (28,857 foreigners, i.e. a 15% increase on September 2006), the MAISON&OBJET platform confirms its positioning as a key international exhibition for buyers and specifiers.

For the first time during a September session, Italy comes first amongst the TOP 10 of international countries: Japan swaps places with Spain and for the 10th ranking, Portugal gives up its position to Greece. It is also necessary to highlight the 11th position of Russian visitors, with a 30% increase on September 2006 (501 visitors).

The strong points that marked this last session:

The noticeable launch of a new annual event, MAISON&OBJET OUTDOOR_INDOOR, dedicated to outdoor lifestyles.

The very beautiful, naturally lit hall 7, with its 7,749 m² net of stands, showcases 92 exhibitors, including 62 from outside France, representing the major contemporary outdoor furniture brands such as Dedon, Emu,Alias, Sifas, Fermob or B&B Italia, Roda, Tribu, Coro…
