On 8 February 2008, there will be a founding general meeting and hopefully many Danish companies and organizations will join the initiative.
The Danish Initiative for Ethical Trade is Denmark's first multi-stakeholder initiative within ethical trade and responsible supplier management.
Bestseller is a family-owned clothing company founded in Ringkøbing, Denmark, in 1975 by Troels Holch Povlsen.
Today, Bestseller employs more than 25,000 people – designing, developing, selling and marketing Bestseller's brands. Initially, Bestseller's focus was on women's fashion, however, over the years, other trends found their way into Bestseller's heart. In 1986, Bestseller introduced a line for children and two years later, the menswear line came along.
