EmbroidMe, the world's largest embroidery franchise, has a new store at 351 Loucks Rd., Suite D1A, under the ownership of local residents Steve Babinchak and his daughter, Denise Babinchak-Mehl.
Before becoming EmbroidMe franchisees, Steve owned the Ben Franklin Crafts in Harrisburg, Pa, now owned by his brother, John, and Sherry Babinchak.
Denise is a former health and physical education teacher at Oxford High School and a graduate of Gettysburg College and Red Lion High School. Denise, a former basketball athlete, is also a member of the Gettysburg College Hall of Fame.
"Discovering EmbroidMe came at a perfect time in my life because the business is the perfect fit because of my previous involvement in the craft industry and my retailing background," says Steve.
"I am pleased to have chosen a franchise with a proven system of support and training that will enable me to provide York with unparalleled customer service and high-quality products at a competitive price."
With more than 450 retail locations worldwide, EmbroidMe provides full-service custom embroidery and screen-printing for apparel, as well as promotional products and gifts to both the private and commercial segments of the business community.
