Shri Rakesh Vaid as AEPC Chairman

Shri Rakesh Vaid Founder Chairman of Delhi based company Usha Fabs Pvt Ltd, a leading Export House has taken over the Chairmanship of the Apparel Export Promotion Council, the apex body for export of Readymade Garments/export promotion under the aegis of Ministry of Textiles, Government of India for the years 2008-2009.
Mr. Vaid had been associated with the Council as a Executive Committee member since 1988 and before taken the Chairmanship of the Council he hold the Senior Vice Chairman post of the council.
Earlier he headed various sub-committees of the Council also and had visited various countries for promotion of export and up gradation of manufacturing process & technology.
He also headed the Garment Exporter's Association in the past. He is also associated with many welfare activities.
