Linen market leader Richard Haworth, of Stoneclough, Kearsley, bagged a £60,000 contract to supply fluffy bathrobes and towels at Heathrow Airport.
The contract came following Virgin Atlantic's Richard Branson sponsoring the refurbishing of a spanking new lounge for business class travelers at the cost of £11 million.
Belonging to Ruia textile group, the company covers import, supply and distribution of household textiles and hosiery.
Having an annual turnover of over £30 million, Richard Haworth has 200 employees on its rolls.
It provides materials to some of UK's foremost retailers, wholesalers, linen hire, hospitality and healthcare organizations.
The hotel chains cruise ships and leisure complexes are provided with linen through this company.
Celebrity couples like Coronation Street actress Samia Ghadie and property developer Matthew Smith, Jordan and Peter Andre have patronized their bath-robes and towel products.
Richard Haworth claims to be a market leader in meeting linen requirements. Established in 1854, the company has a proven track record in meeting the needs of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, hotels, special events, cruise shipping and airlines.
