Asian naphtha prices went down on January 30, a large number of naphtha flowed into Asian market from West. According to reports, on Wednesday, the price of Japan's public specification naphtha for the early March contract fell US $3.50 to $861-862 per ton.
Indian IOC resumed spot exports, which is also expected to ease tight supply situation. The price spread between the first half and the second half of March narrowed $2.50-3.00 per ton.
ICE Brent / naphtha premium was also close to a three-week low, at $168.65 per ton. In spot market, Totsa sold one cargo to Itochu at $858 per ton for shipments in the second half of March.
