New fabric receives good response

Even though a cold wave is taking its toll on China, a new fabric meant for the coming spring season has already started making its presence felt in the domestic market.
The fabric for spring clothes is a combination of chemical and natural fibre, it's known as 'cotton nylon elastic fabric'. This material is welcomed by not only the local consumers, but also by many foreign buyers.
The 'cotton nylon elastic fabric', is made from 50 percent cotton, 42 percent nylon and 8 percent spandex. It has a soft and comfortable feel like cotton, but its wrinkle free. The fabric with width of 150cm and weight of 180 gram per square meters, costs around 8.00 yuan a meter.
This kind of material is suitable to make trousers, leisure clothes and shirts.
At present, manufacturers like Qingying Nantong Qingying Weaving Co Ltd have a capacity to produce this fabric.
