Lakshmi Machine implements Solix EDMS

Solix Technologies, a leading global provider of database archiving and enterprise data management solutions that helps companies meet compliance requirements and achieve Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) goals announced that Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd (LMW) has successfully implemented Solix Enterprise Data Management Suite (Solix EDMS) for Oracle database archiving to reduce the overall size of their production database, increase application performance and reduce the time needed for maintenance, upgrades and reporting from their Oracle 11i environment.

LMW is a leading Textile Machinery Manufacturer in India and one among three in the world to produce the entire range of Spinning Machinery. In 1962 LMW was founded to provide the Indian Textile Mills with the latest Spinning Technology and today caters to around 60% of the domestic market and has emerged as the leading exporter of Textile Machinery in the country.

LMW, a manufacturer of technologically advanced machinery and accessories for the textile industry globally has one of the largest Oracle 11i installations in India with Oracle 11i modules in manufacturing, finance, distribution and procurement, resulting in a large volume of data being retained in its production system. The dynamic nature of managing a global manufacturing business requires fast response from its manufacturing production system.
