Giving his comments to Fibre2fashion about budget 2008-09, Mr Sunil Gupta, Director of Gupta Synthetics stated, “There has been no major change except for removal of 1 percent NCCD on polyester filament yarn.”
Further, the Head of Gupta Synthetics also opined, “The expected cut in excise duty also did not materialize”.
On the whole, budget 2008-09 turned out to be a disappointment for the company, which was hopeful about better incentives from the Government.
