Over the same period of comparison, significant increases were registered in the values of imports from most major suppliers, in particular India (+55.7%), the Philippines (+40.4%), Thailand (+32.2%), Malaysia (+28.4%) and Taiwan (+25.8%).
Comparing the three months ending January 2008 with the three months ending January 2007, distinct increases were registered in the values of total exports to most major destinations, in particular India (+90.9%), the Mainland (+12.5%), Korea (+11.1%), Germany (+8.6%) and the Netherlands (+8.4%).
Over the same period of comparison, distinct increases were registered in the values of imports from most major suppliers, in particular India (+33.6%), Thailand (+18.7%), the Philippines (+17.4%), Singapore (+13.3%) and Malaysia (+13.2%).
