Chemical fibre yarn production registers decline

The production of Chemical fibre yarn kept pace with other textile allied products by registering a decline in the month of February 2008.
China's production of chemical fibre yarn touched 95,400 tons in February 2008, down 19,900 tons from the previous month, or less 17.24 percent according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.
China's total production of chemical fiber yarn reached 210,600 tons in January-February 2008, representing a growth of 10.43 percent over the same period last year.
