Chemical fiber price trends at Shengze market

FDY yarn at the Shengze market remained stable on March 26; market central prices of FDY66D/24F and FDY100D/48F were 14,300 yuan per ton and 13,600 yuan per ton, respectively. POY and DTY prices also show a steadiness.
Polyester / polyester composite filament market remained firm, with unchanged prices.
Now imitation silk fabrics have entered peak season, polyester filament market is expected to improve steadfastly; polyester / polyester composite filament price is anticipated to move higher being driven by the costs from upper reaches.
Island composite filament is still retaining its popularity. Overall sales of island yarn were fair, of which island composite yarn 225D is sold very fast.
Market sales of polyester/ nylon composite yarn were moderate. Currently demand from downstream weaving sector is not bountiful.
