Customs seizes fake Chinese goods

Last month, American Customs seized a great deal of the imported goods which faked the international famous brands. Cheap imitation imports from China have been penetrating the domestic market illegally for quite some time now, and this situation has alerted the Government.
It is a matter of concern for the authorities, that customers are being cheated and are paying high prices for the fake goods. br>
Two containers, imported from China carrying bags were seized by the port authorities. However, after investigation, it uncovered a wide range of products including garments, caps, shoes, jewellery and electronics have labels, like Burberry, Giorgio Armani, Baby Phat, Dolce & Gabbana and TAG Heuer .
American Custom officials divulged that, these imported goods were not original. It is estimated that these products were worth US $1.30 million in China and their retail value in American market would reach more than $38 million.
According to American laws, importers as well as all suspects will be punished by the criminal prosecution and they will have to pay heavy fines if found guilty.
