AEPC & State Govt to set up five apparel centers in Orissa

The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) signed MoU with the state government to establish five satellite Apparel Training and Design centers at Berhampur, Rourkela, Baripada, Sambalpur and Cuttack.
Mr. A.K. Bamba the secretary, AEPC, inked the MoU with principal secretary state textile and handloom department, Ms Anita Agnihotri in the presence of Chief Minister Mr. Naveen Patnaik and minister for textile and handloom Mr. Golak Bihari Nayak.
The training programme in Baripada, Rourkela and Berhampur centres would start by 31 May and the programme at Cuttack and Sambalpur centres would be taken up in the next phase.
