Fabric manufacturers and distributors of Shishi City are presently facing a big problem of developing new functional fabric in order get a break through in the most potential markets both domestic and world-wide.

Experts have warned the local manufacturers that if they intend to stay in business and flourish as well, they will have to focus on the demands of fabric having eco-friendly and unique functional properties. Failure to stand up to these changing trends would result in the loss of market appeal of their products.

According to the Taiwan Straits Science and Technology Hatch Base located in Shishi city, a large number of manufacturing enterprises have taken resort to nanometer additive developed by them. Making use of this material during processing would transform the conventional fabric into a sparkling new one.

As a consequence most of the fabric produced by the local manufacturers will have some or the other special functional features like soft texture, skin protective properties, scented fabric, temperature regulatory quality and others.
