SiJiQing Garment Trade Center to start trading soon

The China SiJiQing Garment Trade Center which is located in Hangzhou City will officially start business in August 2008 during the Beijing Olympic Games. Its primary aim is to wholesale and retail the domestic apparel products.
Some 20 years back, the local Government had set up the Hangzhou SiJiQing Garment Trade Center which was also known as the 'old SiJiQing'. At that time the center only dealt with middle and top-grade garments whereas this new trading area will also trade low-grade garments.
Covering an area of 5000 mu, the China SiJiQing Garment Trade Center includes a trade section, information department and a storage and logistic section.
Experts believe that commencement of this new trade center would greatly help local manufacturers market their products and help secure a fair price for their goods. A large number of retailers are expected to hold grounds at the center.
