Propylene market likely to see limited changes

After May Day, domestic propylene market has entered into a consolidation trend. Although, some facilities of Shandong refineries went for maintenance, propylene market prices remained stable; current price stood at 12,000 Yuan per ton, shipments show slight slowdown.
In North China, Shijiazhuang Refinery produces propylene for its own consumption. Production unit of Tianjin Dagang is operating steadily; the present price quoted by the company stood at 11,700 Yuan per ton. Price from Tianjin Petrochemical is at 11,550 Yuan per ton. Implementation price from Zhongyuan Oilfield is at 11,700 Yuan per ton.
In Northeast region, overall supply is tight. Implementation prices of propylene by Jinxi Refinery and petrochemical stood at 11,750 Yuan per ton. This shows there were no supplies for exports. Price from Heilongjiang Petrochemical is stabilized at 11,600 Yuan per ton, its propylene device in under overhaul. Price from Harbin Refinery and Petrochemical quoted at 11,100 Yuan per ton.
In Northwest region, Lanzhou Petrochemical offers propylene at 10,550 Yuan per ton, mainly for its own consumption. Equipments of Xi'an Petrochemical are under maintenance. Implementation price from Xianyang Aids is at 11,350 Yuan per ton, sales are good.
Talking about the facilities located in the southern and eastern part of China, the ex-factory price from Guangzhou Petrochemical is implemented at 11,200 Yuan per ton. Maoming Petrochemical offers at 11,200 Yuan per ton. Price quoted by Anqing Petrochemical stood at 11,600 Yuan per ton. Implementation price from Hangzhou Refinery is at 11,600 Yuan per ton. Sinopec Zhenhai offers at 11,900 Yuan per ton. Gaoqiao Petrochemical offer propylene at 11,900 Yuan per ton. Implementation price from Jinling Petrochemical is at 11,900 Yuan per ton.
Recently oil prices continue to set records while demand from lower reaches is plummeting. Market research shows that demand of propylene oxide, epichlorohydrin, acrylic, allyl chloride products are limited, whereas polypropylene market has improved little. In recent times Chinese propylene market is expected to stay in stalemate with limited changes.
