Thibaut celebrates the essence of the 'Cypress'

Thibaut celebrates the essence of the old world with “Cypress,” a collection of wallpaper and printed and woven fabric designs inspired by traditional craftsmanship and printing techniques from India.
Paisleys, block prints and embroideries lend a charming, aged look and feel. A paired down color palette, gives the designs a simplistic, modern look. These exclusive designs are ideal for upholstery, or creating beautiful draperies and bedding.
“Mizoram” presents a sophisticated yet relaxed look with a batik block-print pattern and primitive hand. The pattern is a one-color floral design, in sage green, indigo, black, red, aqua, brown and beige.
The design also comes in a metallic on brown. Another batik-inspired design, “Sabeen,” is a scrolling, curvy, floral damask.
The simplicity of the pattern displays classic design with a timeless charm. Acanthus leaves and damask medallions intermingle to create “Haleema,” a block-print style pattern with a more elegant, formal appearance.
“Shalimar,” a scrolling vine pattern, in an open, clean design with a natural linen-like background and cotton embroidery over the top.
This design is also one-color, with a look that gives modern panache to a very simple motif. The fabric is an ideal coordinate to many designs in the collection, and is great for use on pillows, draperies, and accent chairs.
“Bandonese,” a silhouette of a Jacobean floral, is taken from an antique crewelpattern. The design is printed on heavy, fibrous paper. Colors include black on white, cream on aqua, and a burnished metallic finish on orange, cream, and dark brown.
