Xentrys to acquire Propilan's staple fibres business

Propilan and XENTRYS are very complementary: in machinery, markets served, products developed, geographical location and so on, resulting in an ideal combination to further develop XENTRYS presence in fibers worldwide.
This is a logical step in the consolidation of fiber extrusion in Europe and worldwide, and another important step for XENTRYS in our strategic plan towards becoming a worldwide player in fibers and yarns for carpets and technical textiles. XENTRYS Barcelona will increase substantially the service level and technical boundaries of our product offerings, making it again easier for the customer to apply and rely on our service and quality, Bert Devos, Manager Staple Fibers.
XENTRYS and Propilan expect to finalize all details by the end of April after which the final integration will start and the new subsidiary XENTRYS Barcelona will start operating.
