Art & jewellery expo wraps up successfully

The Turkmenistan and Masterpieces of World Art, international painting and jewellery exhibition, wrapped up successfully in Ashgabat Exhibition Centre on May 18. The expo was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Broadcasting Activities in order to celebrate National Holiday – Day of Unity, Revival and Magtymguly's Poetry.

The expo generated lot of interest not only among Turkmen but also foreign painters, sculptures and jewellers who participated here for displaying their art to a wider audience.

The artisans from fourteen countries including Poland, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, China, UAE, US, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, France and Ukraine actively displayed their exclusive works to eager spectators.

The three-day exhibition showcased all the genres and styles of modern art and turned out to be a feast for the art lovers. The exclusive pieces of ornaments were an instant hit among the women visitors.

The craftsmen received high appreciation for their fantastic creativity and experimentation that made their work stand out in crowd.

This event gave established as well as upcoming artists a rare opportunity to become acquainted with latest trends that are prevailing in these fields. It even gave artists a chance to build contacts for enhancing their trade in near future with overseas buyers.
