The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), Los Angeles, is currently holding an exhibition titled Aesthetes, Bohemians and Craftsmen, in its Fashion Museum. The spectacular expo will continue till July 2. Here one can glance through the transition phase that the Bohemian style costumes and accessories have undergone from 1880 to 1920.

Long flowing skirts, billowy blouses, and loose garments teamed with large jewellery pieces made of wood, represent the bohemian culture in the best possible manner. To create funky look lot of embellishment is done using beads. Fringes and frayed edges are crafted to bring out a unique style, which the garments are famous for.

The ambience created in the museum is completely in-sync with the theme as mannequins are dressed in bohemian dresses and decorative items and furniture pieces of the era are placed in the hall.

The visitors are thrilled to see one of the most popular and talked about cultures, come alive in front of them through clothes and artifacts. The expo is generating lot of interest among fashion lovers who are ready to adopt boho look once again.
