FeiYue exhibits latest sewing machine technology at JIAM

The International Apparel Machinery Trade Show (JIAM 2008) was held in Singapore Expo from May 13th to 16th.
Being one of the three major apparel machinery trade fairs in the world, JIAM has been held every three years since the premier show in 1984, and its ninth holding this May was the first time JIAM was taking place outside Japan.
JIAM 2008 had near 200 exhibitors made up of leading apparel machinery builders and suppliers from more than 18 countries and regions including China with the representative of Feiyue.
Under the theme "The Gateway to Advancing Technology from JIAM to the world", the four-day show presented the latest and most advanced machinery and equipment, demonstrated highly innovative and cutting-edge technology that provide solutions for the apparel industry.
As a result of the significant global changes that are occurring in the textile and apparel industries, particularly the shift of manufacturing activities to meet the challenges of competitive global marketplaces, Asia alone has come to account for more than 70% of global production.
China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Vietnam, Cambodia and other industrializing countries in South and East Asia have significantly been expanding their apparel production.
As these countries are focusing quality design and functionality are in greater demand, and this is leading to increased demand for high end machinery.
Linda Mao, the export manager of Feiyue said in an interview:" Feiyue has launched series of special machines to meet the change of global market to ensure its higher position in the market."
