Vardhman Textiles Ltd has informed that in a manufacturing unit of the Company under the name M/s. Arishi Spinning Mills situated at Baddi, Distt. Solan, (H.P.), a fire accident took place on May 29, 2008 in the 66 KV Transformer.

Due to this the Power Supply System got disrupted. It will take about 4-5 weeks to restore the Power Supply System.

However in the meantime, the unit is substantially operating on Back up Power Supply System (Diesel Generating Set).

There will be a difference in the cost of power generated by Diesel Generating Set over the grid supply which will affect the results of the unit till the restoration of the said supply.
