Denim Garment Industry Meet in Guangzhou

Guangzhou city is set to host the 2008 Work Conference on Development of China Denim Garment Industry, organized by the Textile Association of Guangdong Province, in mid-June.
Denim industry will be given special attention, and the concerns and issues of this sector will be talked about openly.
Main topics that will be covered here include industrial upgrading of Chinese dyed cotton yarn industrial clusters, status quo and development forecasts of knitting and leisure apparel industry, shopping malls channel conditions and data analysis of denim clothes.
The exports situation of China's textile and garment, global scenario of clothing and textile trade, analysis on Sino-US denim clothing market and standard publicity of denim apparel industries in China, EU and the US will also be discussed at this event.
Latest environmental dyeing application process of textile and denim clothing, guidance of Labor Contract Law, key cases of labor disputes, trend study report and design application on denim clothing, situation analysis on domestic denim clothing market, and other issues which cause much concern from the industry will all be analyzed in detail so as to boost up the traders.
Reportedly, this meeting will invite China Textile Engineering Society, China Trade Promotion Council of the Textile Committee, China Cotton Textile Industry Association, China Garment Association, China Knitting Industry Association, China General Chamber of Commerce as well as Chinese Costume Designer Association.
Experts from China Textiles Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, the Hong Kong Textile Association, All-China Commercial Information Center, Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Economic and Trade Commission of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou Customs and relevant industry leaders will also be present here.
