Puyuan wool yarn market turnover to slide

Influenced by higher temperature, wool market traffic was extremely small. Sweater market showed shrinking trade volume and wool yarn trade size in Puyuan market continued to drop. Prices also appeared flat and weak during the week from May 27.
From the trend of varieties, market price of acrylic yarn stabilized in the week, but trade volume was small. Acrylic Iceland yarn marked slightly firm trend amid trade volume, but prices remained steady. Domestic fine wool yarn market sales declined, but price hardly showed and change.
Trade volume of cashmere imitation and rabbit hair imitation was less than previous week, but anti-spherule, ultra-soft and mercerized cashmere imitation market enlarged. Particularly, 2 / 56 NM and 2 / 48 NM varieties were very popular.
Sale of Australian acrylic yarn was moderate in the week, of which wool /acrylic Iceland yarn 30/70, 3 NM attracted much clientele. It is mainly used in production of summer T-shirt sweaters. Although the turnover of wool/ acrylic yarn was moderate in the week, its price raised about 200 yuan per ton.
Dyed polyester yarn was relatively stable in price. Overall market turnover of rabbit hair yarn dropped and trade focus remained on 50/50 wool and rabbit hair. Meanwhile, price recorded little change. In addition, a product of tence and wool blend yarn (wool ratio less than 20 percent) has been popular in market, with current price is at 95.00 yuan per kg.
Thus, it has been noted that sweater market is showing downtrend and summer market trade volume stays within average levels. Experts predict that the total turnover of wool yarn in Puyuan market will moderately decline.
